1. Overview

Voxle ("we", "our", "the app") is a casual word puzzle game developed by Hutomo Sakti Kartiko. This privacy policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the minimum data necessary to operate the app:

  • Anonymous Device ID (UUID): A randomly generated identifier created on first launch. This is not linked to your real identity and cannot be used to identify you personally.
  • Game Data: Your scores, guesses, streak count, and game session statistics stored under your anonymous UUID.
  • Language Preference: Your chosen app language (English or Indonesian), stored locally on your device.
  • Crash Reports (Firebase Crashlytics): Anonymized crash and error data to help us fix bugs. This may include device model and OS version.
  • Ad Interaction Data (Google AdMob): Google AdMob collects data to serve and measure advertisements. See Google's privacy policy for details.

3. Information We Do NOT Collect

  • Name, email address, or phone number
  • GPS location data
  • Device contacts or photos
  • Any data that can personally identify you

4. How We Use Your Data

  • Display your position on the daily leaderboard
  • Track and display your streak and personal statistics
  • Restore your game state if the app is closed mid-session
  • Diagnose and fix crashes via Firebase Crashlytics
  • Serve ads through Google AdMob to support free access to the app

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Supabase — Backend database and API. Data is stored on servers in accordance with Supabase's privacy policy.
  • Google Firebase Crashlytics — Crash reporting. Governed by Google's privacy policy.
  • Google AdMob — Advertising. For EU users, AdMob displays a consent form (UMP). Governed by Google's privacy policy.

6. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Voxle is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app is rated "Everyone" and AdMob is configured with tagForChildDirectedTreatment = false.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

Game data is stored under your anonymous UUID. Since we have no way to link this to your identity, we cannot fulfill deletion requests for individual users. You may reset your data by clearing the app's local storage on your device, which generates a new UUID on next launch.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
